5th Mega Surya Namaskar Event

Registration Form (Saral Surya Namaskar)

YogaNiketan, Vadodara is celebrating the 7th International Yoga Day by organizing the 5th Mega Surya Namaskar Event.

Training will be provided online under the mentorship of Master Teacher Praveen Maripelly, Limca Book of Records holder-2018 and Certified Yoga Teachers from YogaNiketan, Vadodara.

The aim of 108 Surya Namaskar has always been to promote awareness about Yoga and wholistic well-being.

Building on our foundation of bringing yoga to all, we are introducing Saral Surya Namaskar with Chair as part of the 5th Mega 108 Surya Namaskar event.

Date of Registration: 17th May to 23rd May 2021
Date and Time of Final Performance: 20th June 2021, 6 am to 7.30 am (IST)

Practice Session: 1st June 2021 onward

Timing of Practice SessionMorning 5:45 am to 7 am (IST) Sunday to Saturday


  1. Participants are supposed to fill registration form with correct details.
  2. Whats app number provided by the participant will be added to the official groups for communication purpose.
  3. Age Group: 12+
  4. Online Platform: To be informed on Whatsapp group.
  5. All the information entered will remain confidential.
  6. Participants will get a E-Certificate.
  7. Minimum 12 to maximum 27 Surya Namaskar to be performed in final event.
  8. Participants with Hernia or/and Knee replacement should not join.

Instructions to be followed during practice session:

  1. Keep video always on during practice session.
  2. Make sure you have a good internet connection with good speed with sufficient data limit.
  3. Arrange the camera in a way that we can see you completely in standing and lying down position.
  4. Keep your mic muted at all time during the practice session.
  5. Participants should be regular and punctual during practice session.
  6. Participants should wear full track pant and high neck t shirt.
  7. Photographs and videos may be taken by teachers/organizers for teaching and publishing purposes.
  8. Participants are not allowed to record any session in any way(audio/video) from their end.
  9. Participants should use a yoga mat and not practice on a very hard surface or directly on the floor.
  10. Participants have to manage chair and props as per instructions provided during classes for better practice and performance.
