Yoganiketan organizes Yoga Teachers Training Course for students who have cleared YCC from Yoganiketan, Vadodara in last 5 years.

Admission Criteria

  1. YCC: Successful completion of Yoga Certificate Course conducted by Yoganiketan (between 2017 and 2021) as per the prescribed norms. Minimum 60% aggregate marks required for Level II; Minimum 50% aggregate marks for Level I; for Vishesh Yogyata Category, age and YCC qualification criteria will apply as decided from time to time by the Management Committee.
  2. Health: Sound physical and mental health. In case of necessity, selected students will be subjected to medical check up.

YTTC Classes will be conducted through online and offline media. Considering the current COVID-19 situation, the classes will be conducted Online in the beginning. However, they will soon be converted to offline teaching, once the situation permits. When the offline classes will be conducted, the students hailing form Vadodara shall be compulsorily required to attend the classes at Yoganiketan in person. Only outside students will be allowed to use the online platform. The Online Class Platform will be intimated along with the other technical details to the enrolled students when the classes begin.

Course Timings: 5.40 to 8.00 Morning (IST) (1 hr. Theory & 1 hr. Practical). Monday to Saturday. Some classes might be arranged on Sunday as per need.

Duration : November to April.

Admissions will be finalized based on the eligibility criteria + personal interviews (in person or online, as the case may be). Selected candidates will be informed by the institute to pay up their fees in stipulated time.

Yoganiketan announces 34th Yoga Teacher’s Training Course (YTTC)

Course Period –

November 2022 to May 2023 (Exact dates to be announced later)

Course Fees –

₹ 14,000/- for teacher’s level;
₹ 12,500/- for instructor’s level
(Incidental expenses will be charged extra by prior agreement)

In view of the current COVID-19 Pandemic situation, the course will be conducted both offline as well as online depending on the COVID wave.
The course is open for all the students who have completed their Yoga Certificate Course (YCC) from Yoganiketan during 2018 to 2022.
Students from Vadodara and outside including those dwelling in overseas countries can apply for admission.

The course is arbitrarily split in two levels; viz. Yoga Instructor Level and Yoga teacher Level based on the criteria laid down below

Eligibility Criteria Yoga Teacher Level

  1. Minimum educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline
  2. YCC aggregate marks more than 60%.
  3. Age limit up to 50 years.
  4. Able to attend classes physically at Yoganiketan compulsorily if arranged.
  5. Able to attend special Yoga shibir to be arranged in the month January or whenever the schedule and the situation permit for three days outside Vadodara.
  6. The examination pattern may be different for Yoga Teacher Level students (Physically conducted at Yoganiketan, May be both subjective as well as objective theory papers and practical assessment).
  7. Minimum Marks required for passing the qualifying examination – 60%)
  8. There will be a two weeks’ compulsory internship training to be completed by successful candidates.

Eligibility Criteria Yoga Instructor Level

  1. Minimum educational qualification: 12th Board plus (Candidate with diploma degree can apply).
  2. YCC aggregate marks more than 50%
  3. Age limit up to 60 years.
  4. Able to join either online or offline classes by prior selection to be applicable throughout the course.
  5. The examination pattern will be objective in theory papers + practical assessment as usual.
  6. Minimum Marks required for passing the final examination – 50%.
  7. There will be a two weeks’ compulsory internship training to be completed by successful candidates.
  8. Participation in three days. Special Yoga Shibir to be arranged in the month of January or whenever possible outside Vadodara will be desirable for those students from Vadodara or outside if they can make it.


  1. Selection of candidates for both the levels will be based on personal (offline/online) interviews as well as practical assessment.
  2. Codes of conduct including the one for minimum attendance of 80% (Working class days) and not observing continuous spell of leaves for more than 7 days to qualify for the final examination will apply to both the levels alike.
